WOTD - wastrel.

from Sarah Thornton

TODAYS metaphor for life - drones, bees, actually producing honey (studying a 'proper' subject like chemistry, which could ultimately have some literal application, not necessarily ethically or morally sound, but still, application, production etc.) and hen theres the bee/fly winged insect that kind of buzzes around a thing not getting anywhere, thinking it's getting somewhere, but is actually just burning that dust off its wings on a hot lightbulb. eventually it might get away, what makes it change its mind i wonder?

it doesn't even have a mind. just a PUNDING mechanism.
